Counter Stories: Separation ordinance and Walker's 'Scaffold' installation

The Counter Stories hosts discussed the recent attack in Portland, Ore. where three men who were defending a Muslim girl and her friend from a white supremacist were stabbed. Two of the men died and one is in critical care.

The group also discussed the misuse of the term "sanctuary cities," that casts cities that enact an immigration separation ordinance in a negative light.

They also explored how the Walker's "Scaffold" installation, raised questions about the Minnesotan's lack of awareness when it comes to the American Indian community. "Scaffold" depicted the scaffold where 38 Dakota warriors were hung in the nation's largest mass hanging.
