A fifth person shot, who friends identified as Anita Sprosty, is in critical condition.
Mcintosh and Taylor's 18-month-old girl was initially reported missing, but officers found her in a nearby shed with 19-year-old hiding inside.
Kevin Lee said he heard a commotion in his shed around 3 a.m.
"I heard the door slam and the cops yelling get out, get out and let go of the baby. I saw lights flashing toward the shed. It was like five minutes and he ran out and they pinned him down," Lee said.
Police recovered the child and consider the man with her a suspect. He was booked on three counts of aiding and abetting murder, one count of aiding and abetting attempted murder and one count of kidnapping.
St. Paul police have not said who did the shooting.
Paul Marzahn, pastor of Crossroads Church, knew Wade Macintosh. "He just loved his daughters, they were just the apple of his eye. He talked about them all the time.
"Wherever he walked in a room, he was not quiet. I worked out with him sometimes and he'd go in the locker room and high-five everybody that he saw. Wherever he was, he was a presence."
Olivia Mcintosh was a student at Face to Face Academy, the school's executive director Darius Husain said in an email.
The school of 80 students was left devastated by her death, Husain said.
"She had a passion for life and for learning. She embraced a future full of excitement and potential. Just yesterday, she was leading us all in song to Moana's 'How Far I'll Go' to help break the tension before MCA math testing."
The Ramsey County Attorney's Office will consider the case against the 19-year-old suspect for charges Monday.
