MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about the month of March, which was warmer than normal. It's the 19th consecutive time that's happened.
March also had less than normal precipitation for most of the state, but he says that won't be much of an issue for farmers going forward.
The month also saw the earliest tornadoes in Minnesota history.
