University of Minnesota's Department of Psychiatry received criticism after the suicide of psychiatric research participant, Dan Markingson.
Faculty called for an external review which identified a "culture of fear" in the department and caused the head, Charles Schulz, to step down.
Dr. Sophia Vinogradov took over that role. She spoke to Tom about the changes she has made to the department in her first six months.
