Two lawmakers lost loved ones to opioids, now they are crafting bills to fight abuse

There's a new legislative effort to combat the opioid overdose epidemic, an effort that is fueled by personal loss.

Rep. Dave Baker, R-Willmar, and Sen. Chris Eaton, DFL-Brooklyn Center, have both lost loved ones to opioid abuse. They joined the program to discuss two bills Rep. Baker has authored to help regulate prescription opioids.
