The head of the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota is stepping down at an important time for the civil rights nonprofit. Chuck Samuelson has been the agency's executive director since 1996. He announced last week that he'll finish his tenure at the end of February, due to a neurological disease he's been fighting for the past four years.

MPR News host Tom Weber spoke with Samuelson about his career and about the work ahead for the ACLU.
