The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) counted 867 cases of hateful harassment or intimidation in the United States in the 10 days after the Nov. 8 election.
According to the SPLC, 34 of those incidents were in Minnesota.
MPR News host Tom Weber asked SPLC senior fellow Mark Potok about his research into hate crimes. Joining them was Samantha Crossland, a north Minneapolis resident who talked about her experience seeing a swastika painted on her neighbor's garage.
