A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. Department of Agriculture has good news for Minnesotans.
Minnesota's obesity rate for children in low-income families is the eighth lowest in the United States.
Ed Ehlinger, commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Health, explained the reasons for the fall in obesity rate for children in low income families, and the decrease in adult obesity in the state. He joined MPR News host Tom Weber.
