Much of the attention this political season has been on the contentious presidential race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton. But all 201 seats in the Minnesota Legislature will also be on the ballot on Nov. 8.
And the results of those races matter. They'll determine the control of the Minnesota House and Senate.
Republican House Speaker Kurt Daudt and Democratic minority leader Paul Thissen made their pitches for why Minnesotans should vote for their party in those legislative races.
