The Dixie Chicks will be playing two shows at the State Fair's grandstand on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Tickets for both nights sold out just after they were released.

It's the first year a group has played two shows at the Grandstand since the band Alabama headlined in the '80s. Coincidentally, Alabama will also be playing the Grandstand this year. That's next Thursday night.
