More storms are expected across central and southern Minnesota this afternoon and evening.

Just last week, we saw incredible rainfall totals from storms that crossed the state. Some areas had more than a month's worth of rain in a single storm — upwards of 8 inches.

These high intensity rainfalls are spelling trouble when it comes to flooding of streets and homes. The volume of water is overwhelming drains and other infrastructure built to manage it.
