A cool high pressure system is spreading across Minnesota today, and it will linger into Friday:

The southern half of Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, and western Wisconsin could see occasional spotty showers today.

Drought eases

Recent rains have eased the drought conditions over west-central Minnesota. The U.S. Drought Monitor shows a small area of abnormally dry conditions in west-central Minnesota, but no areas of drought:

The U.S. Drought Monitor indicates 1.31% of Minnesota is abnormally dry right now, compared to 19.93% one year ago.
