The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch, valid until 3 a.m. Monday, for parts of northwestern and west-central Minnesota:

Thunderstorms
Thunderstorms are possible Monday morning. We could then see a break in the action, especially over central and southern Minnesota, before the atmosphere destabilizes again during the mid to late afternoon hours.
An approaching cold front should ignite thunderstorms over western Minnesota by late afternoon, and the storms are expected to spread eastward Monday evening.
