The Special Collections staff at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries unearthed this gem from 1962: It's a book of posters designed to teach students to use the library.

Card catalogs may have gone the way of the pterodactyl at this point, but the joy of discovering a new book hasn't changed a bit. ("Take time to browse" reminds one of the delightfully retro designs.)

The book, "Using Your Library," is a rare gem, according to Alice Ladrick, a library services assistant at the university. The Special Collections staff originally shared the posters on the library's Tumblr account, setting off a wave of nostalgia for bookworms everywhere.
