Bemidji police are asking for the public's help locating a child in an unusual missing person case.
Authorities say 5-year-old Brittany Rose Balcer was visiting a Bemidji home that caught fire. Firefighters later found an adult dead in the home but did not find Brittany.
Police say she is missing . They describe her as standing 2 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 50 pounds. She has blonde hair, green eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt and pink skirt with stars. She also had a pink bandage on her arm covering poison ivy.
