Dakota Dave Hull will be celebrating the release of two new albums during a performance Saturday night at the Celtic Junction in St. Paul.

He has been a fixture on the West Bank music scene for many years. Folk legend Dave Von Ronk called Hull "one of the best guitarists in the world."

On the liner notes for his album "Heavenly Hope," Jerome Clark writes that Hull's playing on this song "feels as if it were the clacking of an actual locomotive as its wheels spin atop a long steel rail, proud to announce its imminent arrival at that last station in the sky."
