Today's Morning Edition music is from "Wristband" by Paul Simon from his new album "Stranger to Stranger."

To create the record's unique sound, Simon used musical instruments from around the world and even built some that he created himself.

The Italian electronic dance music artist Clap! Clap! contributes beats on this track.

Simon says his 23-year-old son Adrian, who is a composer, introduced him to that artist.

The album comes out on Friday, but you can stream it now on the NPR's First Listen page.
