It's the final week of the 2016 legislative session and nobody knows for sure if any of the big issues will get resolved.
Gov. Mark Dayton will try to break up a yearlong log jam on transportation today when he rolls out a new funding proposal. Dayton and top legislative leaders say they want transportation out of the way before they try to reach deals on taxes, bonding and a supplemental budget.
But they might not have the time, or the will, to get it done.
MPR political reporter Tim Pugmire talked to Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer about the week ahead in state politics.
