Photos: Powwow aims to bridge Bemidji communities

Twenty-four drum groups from Leech Lake, Red Lake and White Earth take turns performing during the powwow. The drums represent the heartbeat of Mother Earth, according to Earl Fairbanks, arena director of the powwow.
