Today's Morning Edition music is from Courtney Barnett with "Despreston," recorded live last year at Rock the Garden.

The Australian native is back in town. Tonight is the second of a two-night stand of sold-out shows at First Avenue in Minneapolis.

Barnett, who was nominated for a Grammy this year as best new artist, says her songs are constantly evolving.

"They keep revealing themselves. They morph and change form and can end up sounding completely different. I hope it's like that forever," she said.
