Five states cast votes today in the latest presidential contest.

MPR News host Kerri Miller spoke to people on the ground in two of those states.

Laura Olson, DC Correspondent for Morning Call joined the conversation from in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Daniel Schlozman, assistant professor of political science at Johns Hopkins University and author of "When Movements Anchor Parties: Electoral Alignments in American History" called in from Baltimore, Maryland.

Michael Fauntroy, Associate Professor of Political Science at Howard University joined later in the hour with analysis about the role of race and age in this election.
