Wednesday is the 50th anniversary of the first recording sessions for the classic Beatles album "Revolver."
The first song the band recorded for the album was written by John Lennon. He took the initial words of the song from "The Psychedelic Experience," Timothy Leary's re-imagining of the "Tibetan Book of the Dead." Lennon was going to call it "The Void," but thought that was too trippy for Beatles' fans to handle. So he named it in honor of one of Ringo's famous malapropisms, "Tomorrow Never Knows."
