A few showers today, blustery Friday

Generous rains fell across Minnesota yesterday, and occasional showers are expected today. The rainfall total at Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport from Tuesday night through Wednesday was .59", and a few spots in the Twin Cities saw almost an inch.  Lawns are green and it won't be too many days before we hear the sound of lawnmowers!

A low pressure system is pulling away, and the showers will taper off later today:

Blustery winds will make it feel like February tomorrow.  That is not an April Fool's Day joke!

Cold, then milder this weekend

Our weekend will start out cold and blustery on Saturday, then winds diminish and highs warm to the lower 50s on Sunday:

Forecast models hint at a shot at 60s a week from tomorrow. That would be nice...the Minnesota Twins home opener at Target Field is just 3 days later!
