Today's Morning Edition music is from "Prayers and Remembrances" by Tucson, Ariz.-based True Concord Voices and Orchestra.
The piece was composed by the late Stephen Paulus, who lived and worked in St. Paul. It won a Grammy Monday night for best contemporary classical composition.
His widow Patty Paulus accepted the award with her two sons. In her acceptance speech she said, "even though Stephen is not here with us, his musical legacy lives on."
Stephen Paulus died in 2014 at the age of 65 after suffering a stroke.
