Today's Morning Edition music is from "Young Abe Lincoln" by Johnny Horton, which was part of an album of songs about history that Horton released in 1960.

We're playing it in honor of Presidents Day.

We'll have some special programming to mark the holiday. At noon, we're airing a speech by John Meacham, the author of the book "Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power."
