MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about the recent storm that hit much of Minnesota on Groundhog Day. There were blizzard warnings in parts of southern Minnesota, and he explains what conditions are needed for such a warning.
He also tells Picardi how accurate Punxsutawney Phil has been over the years in forecasting the length of the rest of winter.
