Waiting to be processed in Germany

Europe is struggling to figure out how to handle the influx of tens of thousands of migrants who have fled war and poverty in their native countries.

As part of Minnesota Public Radio's Broadcast Journalist Series, Tom Weber spoke with Krisztina Than, a Hungarian reporter who leads a team at Reuters in Budapest.

Hungary has been a key player in the migrant crisis, and Than has been shaping coverage of the crisis through her coverage of both the political developments — and the individual stories of people who have fled their homes.
