One of the country's most widely respected foreign policy experts, former Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana, spoke Tuesday at an event at St. Olaf College. It was moderated by longtime MPR host Gary Eichten. They talked about the Iran nuclear deal, the U.S. role in the world, partisan gridlock in Congress, and presidential politics. The event was sponsored by the Institute for Freedom and Community at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
