Today marks the 14th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The anniversary will inevitably bring another busy day to the Sept. 11 Memorial Museum in New York.
Since it opened last year, more than 3 million visitors have gone to the museum where the World Trade Center once stood.
In addition to exhibits that describe the events of the day, the museum includes works of art, too. One of them, a porcelain urn, was created by University of Minnesota art professor Tom Lane.
Morning Edition producer Jim Bickal talked to Lane about the piece.
