Lt. Gov. Tina Smith was a top advisor to DFL Gov. Mark Dayton before he asked her to be his running mate. And she continues to be the governor's top negotiator on key issues.
Smith joined Tom Weber at the MPR booth at the Minnesota State Fair. They talked about Smith's background and her role in state government, as well as the biggest issues facing Minnesota.
