Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is beefing up his presidential campaign team in Minnesota ahead of two scheduled appearances in the state on Tuesday.
Walker announced today that state Sen. Dave Thompson, former House Speaker Kurt Zellers, former House Minority Leader Marty Seifert and GOP National Committeeman Chris Tiedeman will serve as Minnesota campaign co-chairs.
He previously named House Speaker Kurt Daudt as his state chairman.
Walker said in a news release that the team is “a group of great leaders, principled conservatives and good neighbors.”
“These individuals witnessed Wisconsin’s turnaround and the impact of our reforms up close, and I’m honored to have them on our team as we share our record and message with Minnesota and with the nation,” Walker said.
Walker is scheduled to discuss health care policy tomorrow in Brooklyn Center and attend an evening fundraiser in St. Paul.
