Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this Saturday evening and Saturday night.
The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service has much of southern and central Minnesota and western Wisconsin in a slight risk for severe weather this evening and into tonight.

Update Saturday evening August 1, 2015: The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch valid until midnight for much of western Minnesota and parts of central and south-central Minnesota. Damaging thunderstorm winds and large hail are possible in the watch area. An isolated tornado is also possible.
