It will be downright steamy on Sunday. Tropical heat and humidity are expected, with some severe thunderstorms possible in the late afternoon and evening hours.
The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service has an enhanced risk of severe weather for much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin for late Sunday:

Also, a heat advisory is in effect from 1 pm to 7 pm Sunday for much of the southern half of Minnesota, including most of the Twin Cities Metro area. Temps in the 90s and high humidity levels will produce heat index values of 100 degrees or higher in the advisory area Sunday afternoon. The heat advisory area is generally south of a line from Morris MN to St. Cloud to Ramsey county, then south to the Iowa border.
