Amy Winehouse became a household name in 2007 with the release her signature song, "Rehab." The international hit won awards around the world including the Grammys for Best Song, Best Record and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
A new documentary opening this weekend called "Amy" explores how, in many ways Winehouse was unprepared for what happened.
MPR News' Euan Kerr spoke with the documentary's producer James Gay Reese about the film.
