Analysis: SCOTUS affirms Obamacare

MPR News' Kerri Miller and her guests analyzed the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act.

In a 6-3 ruling, the court affirmed that the law does permit tax subsidies for low-income Americans who buy health insurance through a federal exchange.

Opponents of the law had argued that ambiguous language in the ACA meant that about 6.4 million people receiving insurance in states without a state-run exchange were ineligible for those subsidies.
