The FBI confirmed this week that it is behind a "mystery plane" as it's being called that has circled parts of the Twin Cities recently.

The FBI flew planes over more than 30 cities in a recent 30-day period, according to the Associated Press. The flights are part of an aerial surveillance program and are being used for ongoing investigations. The planes tie back to fake companies that are fronts for the government.
