In Minnesota's education bill, there was a push for more money specifically allocated to spend on school support staff, including nurses, counselors, mental health works and social workers.
Jim Bierma, lead counselor for Minneapolis Public Schools and president of the Minnesota School Counselors Association, joined MPR News' Tom Weber to discuss how this might shake out in the final version of the bill.
