A new short documentary by ESPN and FiveThirtyEight looks at the math behind Jesse Ventura's win in the 1998 race for Minnesota governor.

The 10-minute film is called "Shock the World" after the famous line Ventura proclaimed the night he won.

Zak Knutson, the director of the documentary, joined MPR News' Tom Weber to talk about how Ventura won.
