In a rare appearance of this kind, President Barack Obama was a panel participant at Georgetown University's 'Poverty Summit' on May 12, 2015. Conservative economist Arthur Brooks of the American Enterprise Institute and liberal Harvard University political scientist Robert Putnam were on the panel with the President. The moderator was E.J. Dionne.
