Mixed rain and snow showers swirled around the backside of low pressure in northern Minnesota this morning.

Minnesota rides chilly wrap around today. High pressure noses in tomorrow as spring returns. It's a one-day reprieve before the next low pressure system swirls in with another rain shot Thursday.

The outlook for the next few days shows the pattern. Brisk, nice day, rain, nice again.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Global Forecast System hints at a potentially warmer solution to the weekend.
Latest trends show a batch of showers and thunderstorms favoring Saturday night. We may break into a warm and humid air mass by Sunday. Highs near 80, with a dew point near 60 this weekend? Fire up the Jet Ski? (Wet suit required.)
