There was plenty of sunshine over Minnesota and western Wisconsin today. Temperatures were mild, topping out at 69 degrees in the Twin Cities. Our average high this time of year is only 63 degrees.
We'll see a mix of sun and clouds on Tuesday, with a few scattered showers possible at times. Tuesday high temperatures look similar to Monday's highs:

Gorgeous April weather makes some people think about putting their potted plants outdoors. Are we safe from frost yet? Well, not really.
At Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, April 28 is the average date of our final 32 degree reading in spring. If winds are very light, frost can happen at ground level when the official temperature (measured about 6 feet above the ground) is in the middle 30s or warmer.
