It's easy to think of the pop art as that movement from the late 50s into the 70s that Andy Warhold did: The Campbell's Soup can and the Marilyn Monroe images.

But a new exhibit at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis highlights that pop art wasn't just about one man or even one location. For all the heat it took when it was emerging, it did eventually gain an international flair.

The exhibit "International Pop" features some 140 works from 14 countries. The exhibit's curators joined MPR News' Tom Weber to discuss the art form.
