Today's Morning Edition music is from the pragmatic philosophy of life from Willie Parker and his song "I Live the Life I Love."

It's one of the tracks on the latest compilation from Minneapolis-based Secret Stash Records.

The record label is releasing a series of six discs featuring music recorded in the 1960s for Chicago-based soul labels run by two brothers, George and Ernie Leaner. This latest installment covers the songs released on their M-Pac label.
