The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis plans to open a new center this summer to promote economic development on American Indian reservations.
The Center for Indian Country Development's mission is broad and national in scope. The bank's president announced the initiative in a speech in Washington earlier this month.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Sue Woodrow, who will co-chair the center.
