Minnesota's animal health board says no further cases of avian flu have turned up in Minnesota's domestic poultry.
On March 5, state officials announced that the H5N2 virus had killed 15,000 turkeys on a Pope County farm. Another 29,000 birds were euthanized as a precaution.
After the outbreak was detected, health officials tested all poultry flocks within six miles of the infected barn, but didn't find any additional cases of the virus. The zone will remain quarantined.
The virus has been found in seven states, most recently Missouri and Arkansas. Dozens of countries have banned poultry imports from the affected states, including Minnesota.
