Delta Airlines will soon end its daily flight from Rochester to Detroit.
The carrier started operating between the two cities in September. But airport officials say that flight will end April 9, when the carrier re-routes the crew to Minneapolis.
A new flight from Rochester to Atlanta that also launched in September will not be affected, said John Reed, executive director of Rochester International Airport.
"That's been well-received by the community and we continue to stress our desire to utilize that flight from Rochester to Atlanta," Reed said.
There are currently two flights from Rochester to Minneapolis. Reed said shifting the Detroit crew to Minneapolis will allow for three daily Rochester to Minneapolis flights.
