Today's Morning Edition music is from North Dakota's Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra and chorus with a 2012 performance of Beethoven's "Choral Fantasy."
People in the Fargo-Moorhead area will have the opportunity to hear a lot more Beethoven over the next month as that community celebrates Beethoven Fest.
It begins with a performance Saturday night at the North Dakota State University Festival Concert Hall featuring the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra.
A tuba quartet drawn from that orchestra will be playing at a series of happy hours featuring special brews with names like "Magnum Opus" and "Deaf Guy."
There will also be a screening of the Beethoven biopic "Immortal Beloved" and a Beethoven trivia contest at Rhombus Guys Pizza in Fargo.
