Today's Morning Edition music is from "Saved," the title track from a 1980 album by Bob Dylan.
The song was co-written by Dylan and his bass player during that period, Tim Drummond. Drummond died on Saturday at the age of 74.
He also played with Neil Young for many years and toured with Dylan in the 1980s.
Drummond recently talked to Rolling Stone magazine about playing in Dylan's band. He said that "at that time I was semi-bandleader, and I kept telling the band, 'Watch (Dylan's) right heel when he's stomping. Don't tap your toe, watch your heel. That's where the beat is.' "
