The Daisy Dillman band was very popular locally in the 1970s, and had some songs that made it onto the national charts.
They toured with bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama and the Allman Brothers.
The band split up in the early '80s, but they have reunited to record a new album. A record release party will be held Saturday night at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
