Authorities are investigating the death of a 6-year-old in Brooklyn Park.

First responders were called to a Brooklyn Park home just before 9 p.m. on Saturday where a child had lost consciousness.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel performed CPR, officials said.

The child was taken to North Memorial Hospital and later died.

No additional information was available.
